Strengths and Challenges of Mexico’s Electoral Reforms
From April 29 to May 5, 2018, IFES, with the support of the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights, participated in a Mission of Technical Accompaniment in Mexico City to analyze the reforms, identify their strengths and anticipate the potential challenges the country will face during its 2018 electoral processes. From June 28 to July 1, the mission returned to Mexico City to conduct follow-up interviews and observations during Election Day on July 1, 2018.

Election Observation Final Report
This report summarizes IFES’ mission to Mexico for the 1994 presidential, legislative and state elections. The report concludes that the elections were conducted in a peaceful and transparent fashion, however, there is room for improvement in the arena of voting efficiency. This report discusses the Madagascar Elections Training Project and the technical assistance provided to the electoral process in Madagascar. The Ministry of Interior in collaboration with the NGO community was in need of help in organizing and training election poll observers and in monitoring voter registration and balloting procedures.
