Kai Stuckey is an Inclusion Program Officer at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems. Her portfolios include the rights of Indigenous Peoples and the rights of persons with disabilities, where she supports and facilitates global inclusive political and civic trainings, resources, and tools for electoral management bodies, civil society and organizations, and political stakeholders.  With an extensive global background in education, her research and interests also include the rights of ethnic minorities, forcibly displaced persons, electoral transparency, government-civic security relations, and DEIA work. 

Prior to joining IFES in 2023, she worked for USAID’s Bureau for Development, Democracy and Innovation within the Innovation, Technology and Research Hub, the United States Institute of Peace’s Africa Center, and was a graduate research fellow under the international development chair at Georgetown University. Kai received a dual bachelor’s from Howard University and a master’s in foreign service from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and is fluent in Spanish.
